I did a Linked In search for the topic of tractor restoration. I did not get a single match.

People in Antique Tractor have mentioned their workshops. I am pretty much at the point in life where I could focus on designing and building a workshop/residence where I could work on things indoors.

Things I would want would include storage shelves, a lift, good lighting, plenty of electrical and air outlets, insulated floor, rolling A frame hoist, compressor, etc. I am sure there are more.  I would probably want a restroom and shower adjacent.

Ice Road Truckers is a  show I watched a couple of times. They could open the overhead door and drive a semi tractor in and shut it.

I am sure others have features of their own workshops that they like and do not like. I would appreciate feedback on what others have done.

I answered an ad about 30 years ago and went to pickup the item offered for sale. From the outside I thought I was going to a house. It appeared to be a big workshop. The upper floor could easily have been living quarters.

I noticed that the Forestry forum not only has information about sawmills, has plans for post and beam buildings.
